ARAHH examinations are conducted at the Grayling High School on old 27, 4 miles north of
Grayling at 7:00 pm
CRARC examinations are conducted at the Roscommon County Court House at 9:00 am
The Amateur Radio Association of Hanson Hills and the Crawford Roscommon Amateur Radio Club conduct bi-monthly VE exams at regularly scheduled times. The ARAHH holds their exams on the days listed below of January, May and September. The CRARC holds their exams on the second Saturday of March, July and November. The Grayling High School is located less than 1/4 mile north of the junction of M-93 (Hartwick Pines Rd.) and old 27, on old 27. It is on the west side of the road and about the only large building in the area. Our repeater frequency is 145.13-. Someone will be on it to give directions.
The Roscommon County Court house is on the south side of the road, located 1 block west of the downtown Roscommon light on M-18. Someone will be on the 145.45- repeater to give you directions.

To take an Amateur Radio Test you must present to the examiners: 1. Your Social Security Number or taxpayer ID number. Taxpayer ID's for U.S. citizens are available by calling the I.R.S. Non citizens must call the F.C.C. support line at (202) 414-1250 to obtain their ATIN 2. Either a photo ID or two-non photo IDs: Birth certificate, work permit, utility bill or bank statement. 3. A photo copy and your original Amateur Radio license, if you have one. The photo copy is sent in with your exam papers.
To receive credit for passing a test element the applicant must present the original and a copy of the CSCE to the examiners. The copy is sent in with your exam papers.

You can take it as many times as you like, for any level, Novice through Extra, but only the written. It is *excellent* practice. If you do not have a computer, check with your local library, many have an internet connection for the public.
